Sparrow Eclair

Sparrow had his body tampered with by his father, whom has fragments of the philosopher’s stone. His father was trying to develop a way to produce abilities and enhancements on the human body, using the philosopher’s stone. He was trying to create fake homunculi. Sparrow has the ability called “Total Connection ” as he calls it.

This ability allows him to manipulate matter he physically touches. For example if Sparrow touches the ground below him, he can control it by using body movement. This works for other materials such as metal, wood, water and even air with immense focus. He can also use this ability to direct fire, but sometimes he gets minor burn marks. Sparrow can only control a certain element for 3 minutes, he also cannot control multiple elements at a time. He can switch threw the elements he touches but it tires him out faster.

Sparrow doesn’t like to overuse his ability because of the repercussions behind it. If he overuses this ability parts of his body will paralyze. He also gets a huge appetite. He cant use his ability on living things such as humans animals and plants.

This ability also grants him the ability of understanding. For example he cant control people but he can understand there emotions by touch. Similar to empathy. This also works for other matter, he can understand how the object came to be and its past

Because he doesn’t like using his abilities, Sparrow has trained in various martial arts for combat. He also uses a strong steel weapon that he molds into different weapons for further combat use.

Sparrow’s biological family is from a distant land and now extinct. He is the last survivor and was safely brought here to Amestris. He was adopted by professor, John Saint Éclair. Dr. Éclair had many fragments of the philosopher’s stone. He lived in the town called Colecrow. He was trying to create his own homunculi using alchemy. He was trying to give regular people supernatural powers, but he couldn’t grant immortality. Many of his first attempts were considered failures to him. But not his wife, Rebecca Éclair who loved all the children they have adopted. There were many children in the Éclair home, including Sparrow. They were a big and happy family. Even Dr. Eclair has gotten some caring feelings for the children. They could not make children of there own, so they treated the kids just as there own. The children consider each other as close as brother and sister.

Sparrow was closer to his sister Rainna then any of the other children there. They were inseparable , always together getting in trouble. They both shared the same curiousness about the world, which led to them getting in trouble a lot. Dr. Éclair would often teach the children martial arts when they were old enough about the age of eight. Sparrow and Rainna were the most talented at the arts. So they practiced together a lot, trying to best each other multiple times. But always ending up in a tie. They had the best times together, truly the best of friends. It wasn’t until Sparrow was around the age of thirteen when something terrible happened. Rebecca Éclair had died in a car crash. Dr. Éclair who survived unharmed had gone insane.

He traveled around the town losing his mind. He became obsessed with completing his goal now. On the same night as her death he gathered all the children and strapped them up in metal containers. They didn’t know there mother had died, and didn’t know what was going on. But they trusted there father dearly. He was going complete his experiments tonight on October 13th, all at once. Sparrow was the only one a little bit worried on what was going on. As Sparrow was strapped in, Dr. Éclair came over to him. “Don’t worry my boy, you are indeed the most special one here.” Sparrow was confused by his words.

Once they all were strapped in, the process started. Electrical currents were traveling threw there bodies, changing them. They were all being granted different abilities, Sparrow was getting it the worst. He was losing his memories, forgetting his past. His powers started to activate. He touched the metal bad he was strapped on. The metal started to bend lose, Sparrow was not in control of himself. Dr. Éclair tried to strap him back but it was to late. Sparrow had punched him out of self defense. Sparrow was confused and lost. The metal straps flew off, just as Sparrow wanted. Rainna looked over to him, she called his name. But Sparrow had lost his mind his memories, he turned and jumped out the window scared for his life. He left his family behind, Rainna looked heart broken her eyes showed hatred and sadness. As her torture continued. Ever since that night no one in Colecrow saw Sparrow again.

Sparrow kept running and running threw the night scared. He was getting tired and his head was throbbing. He collapsed in the middle of the woods far away from town. A tall muscular man found him laying there, with a sparrow pecking his head. “Hahahaha a healthy boy like this, on the ground in the middle of the night is not good. Come on boy.” He picked sparrow up and put him on his shoulder. “I think I’ll name you Sparrow.” The man said as he walked threw the night forest.

Ever since then Sparrow, had been training with this man. His name was Oran, Oran was a alchemist a wandering one. He was a master of martial arts and taught Sparrow some new things. He taught Sparrow alchemy but he couldn’t use it because of his abilities would for some reason deny it. But Oran did teach him how to control his power better. They had many adventures together, getting sent to jail multiple times but always escaping. They traveled like this for five years, becoming outlaws from many cities. Helping innocent people when they could but as well as causing havoc. When Sparrow was 18 it was time to go separate ways, for the sake of actually staying alive. They promised each other they would meet again soon.

So Sparrow traveled for year on his own meeting new friends and allies. He got a partner named Elena, whom he constantly hits on. This is his journey now just doing whatever.
